Over the weekend my very close friend Rebecca (also a bridesmaid) was visiting. Of course she was visiting for my belated birthday (that is what she claims see picture below)

The New Couple

Anyways it was great having an old friend in town to visit. So Friday night the four of us went to a joint in Orlando called Saks Comedy Club. It is a family friendly improv comedy club. We went there after stuffing our bellys at Bahama Breeze (MUST TRY Chocolate Pineapple Upside Down Cake!). I had been there before but this time was special. I was asked to participate in a skit! YEAH! But my very much extroverted and excited personality kept me from listening the instructions and premise of the skit. The idea was that the narrator was going to tell a story and the people on stage including me, would pop up like we were in a pop up story book. Now if you remember from when you were a child, the characters in the pop-up book did not move, they basically just popped-up. This was an aspect that I had forgotten. So when the lights came on and I popped up and was told I was a toilet brush I began to twist…..why you ask?…..because that is what a toilet brush does….right? Then I hear the narrator said that the pop-up storybook must be battery operated….but did I get the hint…..no. Then someone comes and “pulls my string” to see what I sing. Out comes the theme song of The Smurfs. The lights go off and back on and I am grabbed by one of the other guys an they are talking something that I am struggling with good and evil….toilets I guess. So I start to tug, still not realizing that I was suppose to stay still. I did eventually hit me and I just doubled over in laughter. (see pic below)

Needless to say it was quite entertaining for the audience and my “crew”. My husband was literally in tears when I went back to my seat. Below are a few more pics…..enjoy!
