Launching: Kitchen Tool Tuesday aka “KTT”

Do you have a favorite or interesting gadget, gizmo or tool that you use in the kitchen? With all of the William & Sonomas, Bed Bath & Beyonds and Pampered Chef consultants there are tons of kitchen tools and products out there.  I thought it would be great if there was some way to share that information.

My idea is “Kitchen Tool Tuesday”, a posting every Tuesday where participants can leave comments and links to their own blog postings about some gadget, gizmo or tool that they like to use in the kitchen and what it is for.  This can be anything from an old wooden spoon that you love for some reason, the camera and tricks that you use to take pictures of your food, and even food products. I will also keep a separate directory of “tools” that are particularly interesting or unique under the “KTT Directory” page.

The Kitchn

I have discovered a new website/blog and I LOVE IT!  The Kitchn “inspiring cooks, nourishing homes” is their “slogan”.  It is fabulous! It is updated daily with new recipes that just entice you to do some experimenting in your kitchen.  They also have slide shows of different kitchen, “kitchen tours”, along with interesting items for your home.  I recommend you check it out and see what you may end up whipping up in your kitchen.    Tonight I am going to try the Lemony Ricotta Pasta with Basil, I will let you know how it turns out. Yummy!
